I’m Tom, a Christian high school student with a love for exploring ideas, stories, new ways to express myself, and the strange corners of the mind (or, more specifically, my mind). I write to make sense of the world and share it with anyone willing to read. If my words can spark thought, conviction, or even just a smile, then they’ve done their job.
Ever since I was young, I was always fascinated by words. The way they were constructed, put together and formed ideas. In Kindergarten, every kid is asked "what do you want to do when you grow up?". My answer was always author or illustrator, but I never really meant illustrator, I'm not very good at art. I just thought the two words were synonymous at the time. The older I get, the more I realise that the spark I had for writing then continues through me now, except with my new capacity to express my ideas I can now share them with others.
Expect a mix of short essays, reflections, and small amounts of creative writing - sometimes raw, sometimes polished. I write about life, faith, ideas that won’t leave me alone, and the little observations most people overlook. Posts might explore personal experiences, questions I’m wrestling with, or fictional pieces that let me stretch my imagination. Some entries are fast thoughts, like journal snapshots; others are longer, carefully thought-out pieces meant to challenge how you see things. Some weeks you might find a handful of new pieces, other weeks there might be nothing at all. But each post is a window into what’s on my mind at that moment, honest and unfiltered.
